ServicesMidsize Jet Charter
Anderson Midsize Jet Charter
If a light jet is too cramped and a larger aircraft is more than the trip calls for, a midsize jet usually fits just right. We pair your passengers, luggage and route with the right cabin, then quote one all-inclusive price by phone.
The in-between jet that suits most longer flights
Midsize jets usually carry six to eight passengers, have a real baggage hold and cover about 2,000 to 2,500 nautical miles between fuel stops. From central Indiana, that reaches most of either coast nonstop. Most come with an enclosed lavatory, and in many the cabin is high enough for shorter travelers to stand.
Here is the trade-off. The hourly rate is above a light jet's, but on trips past roughly two hours you get more room, range and comfort. For a quick flight to Chicago, a turboprop or light jet is usually the better choice, and we will say so.
Our quotes are point to point, so a one-way flight is never charged round trip pricing. You don't join anything, and there is no long term commitment.
What comes with a midsize charter
- The right aircraft for the trip
- We line up the midsize models open on your date, like the Citation XLS, Learjet 60 or Hawker 800 series. They differ in cabin height, range and luggage space, and we point out which difference matters to your group.
- A single all-inclusive quote
- The aircraft, crew, fuel and standard fees all sit in one price. Nothing hidden appears once you've landed.
- Leaving from an airport close by
- Most of our travelers depart from Anderson Municipal Airport or another FBO nearby. We choose the field that fits the aircraft and shortens your drive.
- Space for luggage and pets
- Pets are allowed on our charters. A midsize hold usually takes golf bags, skis and extra suitcases, and we check the specifics before you book.
- WIFI equipped aircraft
- If you want to work or keep in touch in the air, we can find WIFI equipped aircraft. Bring it up on the call.
When a midsize jet makes the most sense
More than five people are flying
Beyond five or six travelers, a light jet feels packed. A midsize cabin gives each person a proper seat and space to move.
You'll be in the air over two hours
On a longer flight, a closed-door lavatory and extra headroom change how you feel when you step off.
Your trip crosses the country
Plenty of light jets must stop for fuel on the way to the West Coast. A midsize jet frequently flies it nonstop, cutting time on the ground.
You're bringing more than carry-ons
Family vacations, client trips with gear or a golf week all take hold space. A midsize jet carries it without crowding the cabin.
Your team plans to work in flight
Facing club seats and a quieter cabin give colleagues room to plan the day or get ready for a meeting.

What changes the cost of a midsize charter
Flight time accounts for most of the price, though a few other factors move it. We cover each of them by phone so nothing in your quote catches you off guard.
- Distance and hours flown
- A longer trip costs more. Heading west in winter, strong headwinds can stretch the flight.
- The aircraft's home base
- When the nearest open jet must reposition to reach you, that time goes into the price. Point to point pricing means you don't pay for a return leg you aren't flying.
- Travel dates and demand
- Fewer aircraft are open around holiday weekends and big sporting events. Booking sooner generally means more jets to pick from.
- Waiting and overnight stays
- On a multi-day trip where the crew stays with you, their lodging and the aircraft's time on the ground are built into the quote.
Common midsize jet questions
Something not covered here? (765) 436-6188
How many passengers fit in a midsize jet?
Six to eight people ride comfortably in most of them. The exact count depends on the model and your luggage, because on longer trips weight and fuel trade against each other. We settle the right setup on the call.
Will a midsize jet reach the West Coast without stopping?
Often it will. Plenty of midsize models fly from central Indiana to California or Arizona with no fuel stop, depending on passengers, luggage and that day's winds. If a stop looks likely, you hear it from us first.
Is a midsize jet worth more than a light jet?
On flights under two hours with four or fewer people, a light jet usually costs less. As the group or the trip grows, the added room and lavatory make a midsize jet the better buy. Either way, we give you an honest comparison.
Is my dog allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed. Tell us how many animals and how big, and we will choose an aircraft and crew suited to them.
Am I charged for the aircraft flying back empty?
No. A one-way trip is never billed at round trip pricing. With a flexible schedule, see our empty leg flights page for how to ride a repositioning jet for less.
